These research activities are focused on the development and application of quantitative methods to support internal company decision-making processes and supply chain management.

At the present time, research is mainly geared towards issues relating to planning runs, scheduling and site planning. Efficient algorithms have already been developed for numerous standard problems such as pick-up and delivery and Dial-a-Ride, but these are rarely used in practice since they often fail to take account of the necessary restrictions. Research is focused on expanding and integrating these issues as well as developing efficient solution techniques.
