The aim of our Communication and Documentation degree programme is to train professionals who have an excellent command of modern communication, documentation, information, and media techniques as well as a fundamental knowledge of technology and business administration in order to ensure proper understanding of all aspects of a business and to communicate technical content appropriately to specific target audiences. Graduates are sought-after and successful managers in all areas of business communication and technical documentation.

STUDYING COMMUNICATION AND DOCUMENTATION AT ASCHAFFENBURG

The technical subjects of the programme enable the future communication and documentation specialist to understand technical information and to communicate with technical departments "eye to eye". The core of the programme is to convey sound specialist knowledge in the areas of technical documentation, communication techniques, and business communication. A strong emphasis is also placed on subjects and terminology related to business administration. An international outlook and expertise in adapting information for the media and specific tasks and presenting it in a functional and attractive form are indispensable for professional success.

Programme structure

The course of study comprises seven semesters, six of which are taken at the university and one of which involves practice-based training with a company. It concludes with the Bachelor of Engineering academic degree.

Practical training
The degree programme conveys this knowledge in case studies and projects through the application of professional tools. Students acquire practical experience in the modern labs and finally deepen their knowledge in their chosen major fields of study in the final two semesters.
